What are Lip Fillers?
Lip fillers are the number one treatment for introducing volume, enhancing shape, redefining the outline of the lip and enhancing lip definition. As a nurse I will work with you to enhance your lips, creating a natural looking lift to a plump and glamorous enhancement, every result is natural and elegant.
What are the Benefits of Lip Fillers?
One of the main advantages of lip fillers is a youthful, rejuvenated and defined appearance. This treatment addresses a range of concerns that can emerge as we age and patients often express their desires that range from looking less sad around the mouth area, to getting rid of those ‘smokers’ lines or simply wanting plumper lips.
What Results Can I Expect?

Results are immediate and can last between 3 – 6 months (very fine filler) to 9- 12 months (stronger filler). The filler I use is made of hyaluronic acid, a natural component found in the skin and lip but the specific lip filler product I will recommend depends on your personal requirements. In some cases, multiple treatments are needed to achieve the desired result and this can then be maintained over time. To minimise pain and bruising, a local anaesthetic cream is used and the filler is applied via a fine needle or cannula.

To obtain the most natural and subtle results, I capture images of my patients (both still and animated) encouraging you to exaggerate the movements you make when laughing, kissing or expressing an unhappy emotion. If you decide to have only a single treatment, rest assured that it will not damage your skin in any way and the effect will gradually fade away. I only use bio-degradable, non-permanent fillers.
