What are Skin Peels?
Skin peels are available in a range of different strengths and can be used to treat many skin conditions including sun damage, acne, scaring, age spots, hyperpigmentation and fine lines to name a few. Some skin peels target the upper layers of the epidermis to allow the rejuvenated skin below to emerge while others penetrate deeper into the dermis.
What are the Benefits of Skin Peels?
Skin peels are designed to enhance the overall texture of the skin and can be used to improve the appearance of the skin on a variety of areas that are prone to the tell-tale signs of ageing or damage. This is a customised treatment that will be tailored to your personal skin type and I can offer expert advice on which peel will offer the most potential. I offer skin peels to enhance the appearance of the face, neck, décolleté, hands and back.
What Results Can I Expect?
You will see improvements to the tone and texture of your skin after just one treatment and I will apply an intensive repair product to aid your skin’s natural recovery for minimal downtime. Superficial Peels result in minimum peeling and are designed for patients addressing minor skin imperfections while a Medium depth peel is designed to penetrate deeper and you can expect skin peeling to last anywhere between 3 to 7 days. The higher the strength, the more peeling you can expect, for example our Deep Peel is a series of 4 weekly treatments and this will result in significant peeling.
What is the Cost of a Skin Peel?
The price of the treatment will differ from patient to patient and depend of the strength of the peel you choose and the number of treatments you require. All costs will be explained in your consultation.
